Anyone in the mood for a little Alfie, straight-up?

What have I got? Really? Some zoomies in my pocket. A nice collar, fancy car at my disposal, and I’m single. Yeah … unattached, free as a bird … I don’t depend on nobody. Nobody depends on me. My life’s my own. But I don’t have peace of mind. And if you don’t have that, you’ve got nothing. So … So what’s the answer? That’s what I keep asking myself. What’s it all about? You know what I mean?

Well, I am starting to think that I do want to depend on somebody. I love my foster human, but I do want a sofa to call my own. And you know what, I do want somebody who depends on me! Maybe that’s what it’s all about. Maybe that’s the answer. When you’ve got that, you’ve got everything.

“In a flash I have my new year’s resolution – aim higher.” And I don’t just mean learning to climb higher to reach those squirrels. I mean finding that special home! Finding my everything! That’s what it’s all about.
