Meet Sally!
Sally is a 3 year old Carpathian Shepherd cross, currently with Oakwood Rescue while she waits for her special human.
Let’s meet Sally!
BTD: How did you come to find yourself in rescue?
Sally: I was homeless. I was living in some fields in an area of Romania called Galati County. There are lots of woods and hills, and I was living there. I was taken to a local shelter in the city of Tecuci and there I spent a couple of years in a pen that was no larger than 6 feet by 6 feet. And if that doesn’t seem small enough already, I am a Carpathian Shepherd dog (very big!) and I also had to share my pen with George, who luckily became my good friend.
BTD: And what happened when you arrived in the UK?
Sally: Apart from a bath (I’m told I scrub up beautifully), I have also put on weight and made lots of friends.
BTD: And what are you favourite interests?
Sally: I like eating (I had a lot of catching up to do) and I like walks. And smiling. I really like smiling.
BTD: Do you have any faults?
Sally: I cannot live with cats. And they cannot live with me. So I guess that is fair.
BTD: What are your best features?
Sally: My smile. My appreciation. And my spectacular size. Honestly, my good looks can stop traffic.
BTD: What does being a part of Be That 30 For 30 mean to you?
Sally: It’s amazing to be a part of this. All these wonderful people who have worked so hard to rescue me. I have come a long, long way from living in a field.
Sally would love nothing more than to put her flat feet on the ground in a new home. Could that be with you? You can read all about how Sally went from wild mustang to pampered pooch and all her stories in Ride, Sally, Ride.
