Meet Betty!
Betty is an adult Golden Retriever X Standard Poodle, currently with Glendee Rescue while she waits for her special human.
Let’s meet Betty!
BTD: How are you finding life in rescue?
Betty: I came into rescue with Cooper and Frank, and we have been able to board together, so it is a lot less stressful than it could have been.
BTD: How do you feel about other dogs?
Betty: Cooper, Frank and I have very little experience of the outside world, so it has been a steep learning curve. I don’t mind other dogs but I need to take my time to get to know them. When I first see a new dog I am so surprised to see another dog (we lived a very isolated life) that I can’t stop saying “There’s a dog! There’s a dog! There’s a dog!” But I am getting more confident now. After a while I won’t have to keep telling everyone about every dog I see.
BTD: What kind of home would be your dream home?
Betty: I find modern life a bit busy for me sometimes. I am very new to all this, but I really don’t like walking near the roads. I think my dream home would be somewhere in the country. And of course it would be with a patient and loving human.
BTD: Are you clumsy like Cooper?
Betty: Well, I am rather large as well. Maybe I should have a home with only bigger children, just in case.
BTD: What are you favourite things?
Betty: Frank and Cooper. But I am learning about new favourite things.
BTD: And what are your best features?
Betty: My beautiful blonde hair and my pretty face. I am also very clever and I am very sweet. Everybody says so.
BTD: What does it mean to be part of 30 for 30?
Betty: Sunshine.
