Meet Matilda and Honey! – REHOMED!
Matilda and Honey are 7 year old Lhasa Apso sisters who are looking for a home together. They are with Friends of the Animals Wales. [UPDATE! These two adorable sisters have now been adopted!]
Let’s meet Matilda and Honey!
BTD: It’s lovely to see two sisters who get along so well. What has made you girls so close?
Honey: I think we had to stay strong for each other during our more difficult days. We were each other’s main source of comfort. And now we are so close, we really don’t want to be separated.
Matilda: I like to go everywhere with Honey. My eyes are not as good as they used to be, so Honey also helps me feel a bit more confident when out and about.
Honey: And walks are new to both of us, so the more support we can give each other, the better.
BTD: How do you feel about meeting new dogs?
Honey: It’s really quite nice. Some of the more excitable ones make me a little more wide-eyed. But I am getting used to it!
BTD: What do you enjoy most of all.
Matilda: Cuddles. With each other. With our humans. With our humans and each other. All cuddles are great. We are almost certain that it is impossible to get too much fuss.
BTD: What challenges lie ahead?
Honey: Probably getting the hang of house-training.
Matilda: I am doing much better at it now that I am confident enough to go into the garden on my own. I think we are nearly there actually.
BTD: What does being a part of Be That 30 for 30 mean to you both?
Honey: Togetherness. With each other. And with 28 other worthy dogs.
Matilda: Yes. And cuddles.
