Howard’s Way Ahead – by Howard Spring

Today I discovered that I always want a cuddle, that I cannot stop wagging my tail when I am told I am a good boy, that I have to be careful not to put my tail in the fireplace, that I really love the fire, that there’s no smoke without fire but there can be fire without smoke, that I almost put too many irons in the fire but fortunately I have no money to burn, that I got so close to the fire that Human was worried I would toast my marshmallows, that Human made sure I slept at a more suitable distance to avoid a bonfire of my vanities.
