Howard’s Way Ahead – by Howard Spring

Today I discovered that I like to bark when Human is on the phone to Grand Human because Yum Yum barks back at me, that I like to sit in the window and grunt quietly at people who look suspicious but I never bark at them, that my quiet grunt may not scare them or even get noticed but just you wait, that fireworks are noisy but I am not scared of them although I do give them some contemptuous grunting, that sometimes I get a boiled egg in the afternoon and that’s great too but I’m always too busy eating to say anything.
