December 9 window is one of good humour, say something nice instead of a rumour.
Today, say something nice about someone to others.
Sometimes at work or school or just among friends it is too easy to spread gossip or rumour or simply what people don’t like about someone else. But how often in a group does someone talk about someone to say how nice they are, or how good they are at what they do?
So, today’s kindness challenge isn’t about giving a compliment to someone’s face, it’s about saying good things about them “behind their back”! Saying nice things about other people not only shows that you appreciate that someone, but also shows you to be someone who does appreciate others in general, and that is something others will appreciate in return. It’s like kindness going viral! Sharing nice words makes other people also feel more secure and want to talk with you, share with you, and give you lots of likes! Nice is a much bigger deal than a lot of people seem to think!
And as you open those windows of nice words and good vibes about others, tell as many people as you can! You can share the nice “gossip” in all the usual places – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, email – let’s get everyone on the nice list!
All in Advent! Are you in? Because we are all in! 💖
