Take a cup of kindness!
Last year, as our special New Year Tree, we created the Cup of Kindness tree. We gathered cups from charity stores, from friends, from family and we decorated the tree with cups which were then donated to local charities in the New Year. It was our very special way of spreading kindness. And it was so successful we are doing it again!
Our collections from last year were donated to Sue Ryder Hospice and Marie Curie. This year we are also donating to Trinity Hospice and Cancer Research UK. But the more we collect, the more charities we can help.
How can you take part?
If you’d like to help us decorate our tree then you can send cups for the tree to Be That Dog, PO Box 73042, London, N1P 1TH
And you can make your own Cup of Kindness tree and collect cups from friends, family and neighbours to raise money for your own local charities. We would love to see it if you do!
Maybe you might even like to make a Cup of Kindness tree at your workplace, and colleagues and customers and all sorts of people can bring in cups for charity.
And remember to post the photos on our Facebook, or Twitter, or Instagram or email us. And don’t forget the hashtags #CupofKindness #BeThatDog
And of course, along with all the cheer of All In Advent, all your wonderful photos, messages, and stories will be part of the very special Be That Dog New Year Post. We think it is going to be “The Most Wonderful Post of the Year”!
So get collecting so we can do some kindness for some very worthy charities in the New Year!
