I was rescued, and consequently I am Queen!

I am Queen Victoria. My namesake was nicknamed “The Grandmother of Europe” because her children married into royal and noble families throughout Europe. I did have some puppies while living in the ravine in Spain, but I am not sure if they managed to move into royalty. Although when I think about my huge change in fortunes, who knows!? Being a dog can be the most amazing and can also be the most harrowing life. It is so easy to have a treacherous and dangerous life. But it is just as easy to have a wonderful life. It just takes one kind person. As my namesake once said, “We poor creatures are born for man’s pleasure and amusement, and destined to go through endless sufferings and trials.” She was obviously talking about dogs, yes?

So that is all I ask for. That one kind person. They will be genuine royalty to me.
