Fate has seen fit to shine some good fortune on me. Today, I am in a new country, with a new rescue, and a chance at a new life. I shall do my utmost to win your hearts and find my new home. I am still a sprightly thing of about 8 years of age, and when it comes to home life I am very inexperienced indeed, having spent most of my life living in a ravine in Spain. But as my namesake said before me, “I am sure that very few have more good will and more real desire to do what is fit and right than I have.”
