Everything’s Rosa

Love Grows, Where the Sweet Rosa Goes

(An adaptation of Edison Lighthouse, Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes) by Tom Macaulay and Barry Mason)
My breed isn’t fancy,
My odds are kinda chancy,
But my hair has been styled beautifully.
Oh, but love grows where the sweet Rosa goes
My new home will be lucky.
I walk very neatly,
People say I’m a sweetie,
And my life’s a mystery.
Oh, but Love grows where the sweet Rosa goes,
My new home will be lucky.
There’s something about a home that is mine,
It’s a feeling that’s fine,
And I just gotta say,
Please let me weave my magical spell,
It’s not been working so well,
I still haven’t a home.
But I’m still a lucky pupper,
Each night I get my supper,
But I need a human all of my own.
Because love grows where the sweet Rosa goes,
My new home will be lucky.
There’s something about a home of my own,
And a place for my bone,
And I just gotta say
I don’t know why you haven’t arrived.
I’m still here, we’re surprised
That I can’t get a home.
But my foster home’s amazing,
The humans need some praising,
And they love me, I am sure.
Because love grows where the sweet Rosa goes,
But I want a home for me.
