My name is Pie. And I am as nice as.

Maybe I am named Pie because of my lovely black and white coat, just like a piebald pony. Or maybe it’s more like a magpie, another famous pie. But maybe the real reason I am so named is because I am as nice as.

Yes, pie is really quite wonderful. In fact, it is so wonderful that people used to use the word pie to describe something that they thought was really and truly delightful. Something a bit like me.

I love people, I love dogs, I love life. In fact, I am always “as polite as pie,” just like Tom Sawyer said in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. 

My back legs may get a little wobbly with my CDM, but nothing is perfect, not even pie.  But my first human decided to give me up to rescue. It was a sad day, but in the end nothing can spoil a good pie, and I have bounced back with my characteristic sweetness. Now I just need to find a new and better human. And my wonderful rescuers, Glendee Rescue, will give my adopters all the help they can with that, so there’s nothing to worry about other than letting me know early on which is the best way for me to get on the sofa to snuggle with you. Because I really am a sweetheart.
