I’m Smurf. And I’m afraid of the dark.
Some people say a fear of the dark isn’t really a fear of the dark at all. It’s a fear of being abandoned. And that makes some sense. Because that’s what happened to me.
Obviously it’s just a temporary problem then. Because I was rescued and now I am being helped by some amazing people. And really, dogs just aren’t built for the dark. We are built for sleeping peacefully all night with our humans, who are also not built for the dark.
It is in the full light of day that I really shine. Just like the difference between my first home and my rescuers, you might say the difference is like night and day.
If you would like to show me the light, please contact Glendee Dog Rescue to adopt one of the most special dogs you will ever meet. All day long.
