I’m young, I’m handsome, I’m spectacular … my gifts are neverending.

But for reasons that are beyond my legendary wisdom, I am still waiting for my home. I am deaf, which means I am special. But I know my future human will also be special. As my namesake said, “Never give up and good luck will find you.”

And so I wait. Patiently. And smiling all the while.

I am always smiling. I think that is because I am so optimistic. I don’t let things get me down because I know good luck is on its way. And I have been very lucky, I am always very lucky. I have ended up with a great rescue with wonderful people. So I am having the time of my life while I wait for my special human to arrive and from the special joy that will bring: “There are many kinds of joy, but they all lead to one: the joy to be loved.”

And so I wait. I will never give up and good luck will find me.
