One of my favourite places to sit is right on top of my human (aka Grand Human). Dogs like to be able to touch the ones they love, and I love Grand Human, so being as close as I can be is one of my favourite places to sit. And Grand Human gives me lovely touch right back. If Grand Human can get an arm free (because when it comes to love I really like to “weigh in”), then I love getting my belly gently tickled, or my shoulder scratched. Dogs may get a bit worried if someone tries to squeeze the life out of them with an uninvited hug. But that makes sense, a lot of humans feel the same way! When it comes to love, I’m a soft touch, and I love Grand Human.
