I really like telephones. I think I like telephones even more than remote controls. The telephone in the bedroom is best because there are next to no access issues.

I like to make the telephone say, “The number you have dialled has not been recognised. Please try again.” And so I try. Again and again.

Aubrey tells me there’s a lady called Avital who said the ordinary is not ordinary at all. And the telephone is considered the most ordinary, which makes it extraordinary. So here is my extraordinary found object. I like finding it over and over again. One day the number will be recognised!
