This is Rudolph.

I am starting to think that Rudolph can take on many forms.

So far, he has been a Christmas jumper.

He has been a musical toy that has been wishing me a merry Christmas over and over until he wore himself out. Or maybe I did …

And now he is a crunch toy as well.

And, of course, Rudolph is outdoor lighting.

I guess he really is a magical reindeer.

Anyway, Rudolph’s shape-shifting as a crunch toy is perhaps one of the most magnificent of all. Crunch toys are quite possibly the most amazing toys imaginable. Or at the very least, they are equivalent to squeaky toys in magnificence.

This Rudolph offers so much Christmas cheer. I can crunch Rudolph. I can grab the tail and swing Rudolph around and around my head. I can even let go and send Rudolph hurtling across the room like a missile (or like a plastic bottle in a sock). What manner of genius came up with this toy!?

I suspect I will see a lot of Rudolph’s shape-shifting this season. I wonder what he will turn up as next?
