That’s Jeffervescent! – by Jefferson Airplane
I like to watch the television.
Personally, I like to dip in and out. I guess I am part of the YouTube generation.
That said, of course I pay particular attention if there is a dog barking, or a cat meowing, or anything squeaking.
Today I watched a film called Bolt. Well, I watched some of it. It was especially fascinating because the lead character is a dog. And if he had a patch over one eye and floppy ears, not only would he be better looking, but also he would look like Howard. So Howard and I felt a special affinity for Bolt.
And the other thing that is notable is that the hero, Bolt, is a rescue puppy. So he is a great role model for me. Bolt accidentally gets lost and on his adventures to get home he makes friends with a cat called Mittens, who was abandoned on the street, and a hamster called Rhino. And when he makes his way back his human adopts Mittens and Rhino as well! Sounds like our place!
So, you see, Bolt is a very important film because it advocates animal rescue. And it even received an Academy Award nomination, I think for best dog movie or something like that. Surely that’s a category?
A rescue dog hero? That’s Jeffervescent!
