That’s Jeffervescent! – by Jefferson Airplane
This is an egg carton … or egg box … or what’s left of it.
Now I know this is cardboard, and I have spoken at length about cardboard, but it’s not just cardboard. This is the spectacularly innovative contraption that carries my eggs.
That alone should be enough. I mean, this carton carries my eggs! And I love eggs! But believe it or not there is even more magic that contributes to the Jeffervescence of an egg carton.
You see, egg cartons bounce and roll! Unlike a box, which really requires quite a bit of manipulation to get it going, an egg carton is almost springy. Howard and I can chase an egg carton around for almost minutes before we tear it to shreds. On this point, I think it is important to note that all of our egg cartons are the 6 egg variety. I think this is the maximum number for optimum bounce. But I am willing to try a dirty dozen, just to check. I think that is the scientist in me.
And if Howard and I haven’t got to it already, I have read that you can also use an egg carton to make caterpillars, or a bird feeder, or to give away eggs … give away eggs?! That last suggestion is ridiculous.
A cardboard caterpillar? That’s Jeffervescent!
