Howard’s Way Ahead – by Howard Spring

Today I discovered that I cannot balance on one leg on the edge of a table, that I happily bounce right back, that I can fit on the window seat with Aubrey Beardsley, that I can jump for joy but I cannot jump as high as Aubrey Beardsley, that I can stand on two legs for much longer than anyone expects, that I like to stand up on two legs when I am especially happy, that I am especially happy so regularly that maybe it is not especially special, that maybe I am just always happy.
