This is one of my favourite things. It is a paper bag.

The paper bag is a wonderful invention. It combines so many of my interests all in one place – paper, bags, and shopping.

Through some conscientious experimentation, while tearing up bag after bag, I have discovered that I can indeed punch my way out of a paper bag. And that this is in fact one of the most fun activities ever.

Unfortunately there are no cats in this particular bag, and as you know I love my kitties. But apparently one of the t-shirts that came in this bag does have cats on it. So I suppose technically the cat is out of this particular bag. But I’m sure my kitty family would enjoy tearing it up with me. I’m a bit of a paper pusher when it comes to team sports, and the kitties love to tear up paper with me. Nothing beats a group effort at tearing and shredding paper!

And did you know that the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest paper shopping bag was set last year, and by a bag made in Bristol in the UK? It even has one of my favourite parts, the twine handles. Do you think I could find that bag? What an amazing day that would be!

So you see, when it comes to shopping, I’m like a terrier in a paper bag!
