That’s Jeffervescent! – by Jefferson Airplane

This is packing tape. It is also sometimes called box-sealing tape. And you know how much I love cardboard boxes.

But I really love a roll of packing tape. And it is not the tape I like so much. And it is not the cardboard roll I like so much. It is how wonderful they are when the two are together. It is the package deal.

Whenever I see a roll unattended I am immediately sent packing! I grab it and toss it and roll around with it. Oh my goodness it is fun!

But did you know that packing tape is used in art? Human tells me there is an artist called Mark Jenkins who lives in Washington (so he maybe knows Bo and Sunny) and he makes sculptures out of packing tape and places them around the city. He’s even made one of dogs playing among the garbage cans in a city alley. So I think my love of packing tape might reveal my artistic side. I think I would like to make a sculpture. But Human always retrieves the roll before I can start unwinding it. All I have managed so far are some modest engravings.
