Toys.

You may say that I have too many choices. You may say that all these toys are so much more than I could possibly need. You may say that my toy box is a metaphor for today’s consumer society.

And I may say, huh?

But seriously, what’s wrong with a bit of abundance? Sometimes people talk about this interwebby thing and say it has so much in it that people cannot cope (I guess it must be a super sticky interwebby thing). They say it is full of junk and people get tired and stupid trying to think about it all. But other people disagree. They say this big web catches so many more people and things in it that now more and more people are reading and talking to each other. Some are yelling, but at least people are talking.

Well, I think the toy box is a bit like the interwebby thing. Every day our toys seem to multiply. But it isn’t overwhelming. And it certainly isn’t making me stupid. I am not suffering with toy overload. I am thriving with new toy information! Every day I see all sorts of new ways to play. And it gets us all playing together. It gets us all talking!

So if you think a pup can have too many toys, I say think again!
