That’s Jeffervescent! – by Jefferson Airplane
As you may have seen, this week I had a rather marvellous time at the Dominic Wilcox exhibition where I realised a lifelong ambition to swim in a pond of balls.
Well, today we put together the plastic bottle pit!
Never underestimate the wonder of the crunchy plastic bottle. As you know, I’m not one to bottle things away. In fact, I positively Jeffervesce! And this splendid discovery is no different.
With all the lids removed (safer and crunchier), we filled a wading pool with plastic bottles and I jumped in and lost my bottle! I was cork high and bottle deep!
There was crunching, and jumping, and diving, and leaping, and plenty of noise! I don’t know what the neighbours thought. They must have thought it was garbage day!
Well, it was certainly recycling day. Maybe that’s the wonder of the plastic bottle pit, it’s all recycled! Maybe that’s like me. Maybe I’m recycled. Well, all I can say is thank goodness for that!
So if you think you can’t catch lightning in a bottle, you’ve never seen a rescue pup in a plastic bottle pit!
