I am a fan of technology.

Well, not technology as such. I am a fan of the cases for technology.

And my all-time favourite is the Blackberry case. If there’s one thing Apple can’t do, it’s a decent chewable case. But Blackberry has this side of things covered. I feel sorry for the dogs in households that have moved over entirely to Apple or Samsung. They will never know the plug and play of the Blackberry case.

Now, some of you may say that Blackberry is shelfware. I think that means you are supposed to keep it somewhere safe. But thankfully Deputy rarely remembers to put it somewhere as inaccessible as a shelf. So I have managed to “frag” it.

But I haven’t destroyed it completely, I’ve Jeffervesced it just enough that the case still does its job, but now is personalized by Jeff. No more smooth edges, it is now more shabby chic.

So I have taken Blackberry and I’ve made it a dog toy. That’s some pretty special repurposing right there. And everyone knows the pet business is the only one that booms in a tough economy, so I may have single-handedly saved Blackberry.

I’m not just a fluffy face.
