That’s Jeffervescent! – By Jefferson Airplane

I love books.

Problem is, when I read them I want to devour them. They say you can’t tell a book by its cover, but I would like to try.

But so far, all I have done is taken the corner off one book. I think that means I have made a start on it. Or is it “break the back of it”? That’s ok, I think I did that too.

Anyway, today Human was sitting at the table writing, and I decided I needed something to read. I have been sniffing and thinking that old second-hand paperbacks may be the nicest to “read”, so I trotted round the corner and grabbed these two books to “read” beside Human.

It seems I am a particular fan of George Bernard Shaw. I’ve heard he also had some silly ideas, but he liked dogs and also said people shouldn’t hurt animals. So I guess we have some common interests.

Anyway, apparently one of the books is about arms and the man. I think that means that if you have arms you are human (it’s an old book so they maybe didn’t know about women in those days). Or maybe it’s about arms and “the man” … so mechanical arms, factories and the big boss?

I don’t know, I guess I will have to “read” it.

Reading? That’s Jeffervescent!
