Yoko is a rather gorgeous Welsh Terrier-Airedale cross who is at Terrier SOS UK while he waits for a new home.
BTD: What is the story of your rescue?
Yoko: I had been wandering around in France and someone found me. They checked my microchip and contacted my owner. But to my dismay my owner didn’t want me back. He said he had given me to someone else. So they contacted the new owner, and he didn’t want me either. So I ended up in the pound. I’m an older boy, around 9, and I think they just wanted to replace me. How can anyone replace a dog?
BTD: What is your best feature?
Yoko: I love people!
BTD: What are your special skills?
Yoko: I can drive a car. Well, I can drive in a car.
BTD: What are some of your more challenging features?
Yoko: I am a bit anxious about other dogs. I’m working on it, but I have a lot on my plate. I am really not doing very well in kennels, so once I get a bit of stability in my life I know I can do so much better.
BTD: What is your dream home?
Yoko: I want to retire with an awesome human. Nothing more, nothing less. I love humans. And I need a chance to show that to my special human.
BTD: What does it mean to be a part of Be That 30 for 30?
Yoko: Age is but a number! And so is 30! I know my human is out there!
